Stephanie Mastracci, MSW, RSW
Clinical Associate
Stephanie is a Registered Social Worker who completed her Master’s in Social Work specializing in Mental Health from the University of Toronto. She also has an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from York University. Stephanie has had the pleasure of holding positions in several adherent DBT clinics with over 6 years of experience as a highly trained DBT therapist. She has also worked in various inpatient and outpatient hospital programs, experience working in emergency departments, non-profit program coordination and in Canada's largest men’s shelter.
Much of her clinical expertise is from working in acute-care settings, gaining extensive experience working with suicidality and self-injurious behaviours, emotion dysregulation, eating disorders, addiction, trauma and psychosis.
Stephanie is very passionate about and interested in the psychological development of individuals, and recognizes the importance of mental health and wellness throughout all developmental stages. She uses an eclectic therapy approach to support individual development and has extensive experience facilitating evidence-based treatments, including but not limited to, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
She takes care of her own mental health through journaling, listening to podcasts and music, reading, yoga, engaging in daily mindfulness practises, ensuring she does her best to maintain meaningful relationships, spending time in nature, and travelling in Ontario and to other countries.
