Skye Casey (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Skye holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in addictions from Lewis & Clark College, and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. She has also completed a certificate in DBT through the University of Toronto. Skye has worked as a psychotherapist for over 6 years in hospital, residential, and outpatient settings, and specializes in treating clients struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, emotion dysregulation, substance abuse, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Skye utilizes a compassion-focused, strengths-based approach to DBT. Her work with clients is informed by the factors and systems that influence our attachment and ability to connect with others. Skye believes that the practice of acceptance and willingness can lead toward sustainable change in establishing a rich and meaningful life. In her spare time, Skye enjoys reading psychological thrillers, developing her green thumb, and spending time with her four fur babies.
