Sam (She/Her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Sam received her Master's in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto after completing an Honours Specialization in Psychology and Major in Criminology at Western University. Sam has worked in a diverse array of settings, including hospitals, residential treatment programs, distress centres, and other community agencies.

 

Sam is dedicated to providing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to young adults and adolescents who are striving to build their life worth living. Sam understands that the healing journey is not linear. Without judgment, Sam empowers her clients to bring acceptance into their lives in order to achieve their goals for change. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, suicidal and self-injurious behaviours, overwhelming thoughts and emotions, trauma, impulsive behaviours, relationship difficulties, and substance use. Sam has worked with diverse clients with intersectional identities. Her work is both trauma-informed and anti-oppressive.

In her spare time, Sam likes to go camping and canoeing, join a hot yoga class, or stay in with her cats. Sam loves light-hearted competition and will never miss a game night.
