Adam Belair, M.SW., R.S.W.
Clinical Associate
Adam (He/Him) is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Adam received his Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto with a clinical specialization in mental health. He has since focused his training on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and has provided DBT to individuals and their families in both community and private practice settings.
Adam works with youth and young adults 14-25 years of age at The DBT Clinic, and is available to meet with clients on weekends. Adam enjoys working collaboratively with clients and their families to facilitate change with warmth and compassion. He employs evidence-based approaches to help clients move toward their goals. Adam has experience in the treatment of suicidal and self-injurious behaviours, mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, and impulsive behaviours. He focuses on providing non-judgemental, trauma-informed, and culturally-sensitive treatment to youth and their families and is experienced in working with clients who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. In his spare time, Adam enjoys exercising, drinking tea, listening to music, camping with friends and family, and spending time with his adorable cat, Mally.
